Carlos Tevez plans to take legal action against football pundit Gramme Souness for comments made in the wake of Man City's defeat to Bayern Munich. Tevez, who was allegedly asked to warm up but allegedly refused, was criticised by Souness who labeled the Argentine a disgrace to football. Souness went on to call him "a bad apple and selfish".
Tevez feels he has grounds to make a claim against Souness for the defamatory remarks that he made.

First half goals from Adam Johnson and a Carlos Tevez penalty put the citizens 2-0 up at the break. The rout continued in the second half with goals from David Silva, Patrick Vieira and Yaya Toure. City are now 6 points clear of 5th place Tottenham, who have a game in hand.
